How an Easy 7-Step Process Streamlined My AI-Generated Content Creation

The Secret Nobody is Talking About...

In content creation, especially AI-generated content, efficiency and consistency are essential, especially when you’re managing multiple platforms and businesses. Integrating AI can be a powerful tool, but getting the AI to generate content that truly reflects your voice is a challenge. After countless hours spent editing and reprompting AI for more 'authentic' content, I found a solution: a 7-step process that saved me hours and ensured my content stayed true to my voice.

This method helped me create a personal tone and style guide, enabling consistent and authentic content across platforms while optimizing time and reducing friction in the process. Here is how I made it happen. ⬇️

Step 1: Discover Your Personality Type

It all begins with understanding who you are. I started by taking the 16Personalities quiz to identify my personality type, which turned out to be INTJ-T (Architect). This knowledge was key—it laid the foundation for a content style that reflects the logical, forward-thinking aspects of my personality.

Step 2: Analyze Results Using AI

Once I had clarity on my personality traits, I turned to AI. Tools like ChatGPT helped me analyze my strengths and weaknesses. The AI identified my strategic thinking and independence but also noted potential pitfalls such as bluntness. These insights allowed me to tailor my communication style, ensuring it was both clear and approachable.

Step 3: Define Your Tone & Style

Using the ChatGPT’s feedback, I defined my personal tone and style. My tone is direct, thoughtful, and confident, with a balance of empathy to ensure the message resonates. My style is structured and concise, with every word chosen deliberately to maintain clarity and impact.

For refining your writing, tools like the Hemingway App are invaluable. They help ensure your content is efficient and easy to read without sacrificing depth.

Step 4: Enhance Based on Strengths and Weaknesses

The next step was refining my tone. I made slight adjustments to soften the bluntness while maintaining directness. This balance ensures my content remains relatable without losing the logical clarity that defines my communication.

For those looking to enhance their content’s alignment with audience needs, tools like Google Keyword Planner help discover key terms that resonate with your target audience.

Step 5: Validate Your Tone with Real Content

To test my tone and style in practice, I applied it to a Facebook post. The result was a piece that was authentic, on-brand, and highly engaging. You can view another example post here: My Facebook Post Example.

The post encourages strategic, long-term thinking and planning for success, highlighting the importance of taking action today for future goals. It asks the audience about their long-term goals and how they are planning for them.

Step 6: Store for Future Use

Once the tone and style were solidified, I documented them in my Google Keep note-taker and exported them as a Google Doc. This allows me to reference it whenever needed, ensuring consistency in all future content creation efforts, whether for personal use or when crafting prompts for AI systems.

If you're managing complex content workflows, organizational tools like Trello or Notion can help maintain efficiency and structure.

Step 7: Ready for Cross-Platform Application

The final and most impactful step was applying this tone and style across all platforms. Now, I can ensure my voice is consistent whether I'm writing a blog, drafting a newsletter, or generating content with AI. The result is authentic content that resonates with audiences, no matter the format or platform.
